Wedge Wire Screens are installed near the outlet of the water system line and protected by mostly stainless steel housing or plastic housing.
When the resin or media passes by, it can be intercepted and captured by the wedge wire filter screen. At the same time, the captured resin can be discharged out of the system by flushing automatically through the differential pressure between front and rear.
The slots in the wedge wire are low to 20 microns and up to 3000 microns to suit different filtration fineness requirements.

The resin trap screen is normally closed on one side and has a flange on the other for easy installation to the equipment. The resin trap screen has a continuous slots and smooth surface. It can be made for FITO or FOTI filtration. The slot size are as small to capture very small particle resins.
